The Egyptian photographer Heba Khamis won first prize in the Contemporary Issues Stories in the 2018 World Press Photo Contest in Amsterdam last week.

23 photojournalism students from China, Bangladesh, Nepal and Norway have just finished a seven week international documentary course in China.

The photojournalism alumnis Line Hårklau, Christian Breidlid, Javier Auris and Anders Melchior were awarded for their visual stories created during the course in International Reporting. The course is a part of the Bachelor program in photojournalism. The annual Norwegian Picture of the Year competition was held 9 March – more info about Årets bilde:
