Communicator of the year
JMIC staff Bente Kalnes has been awarded as communicator of the year by the Association of Norwegian Media Researchers.
She has been used extensively by the media as an expert and commentator– especially in the field of political communication, the jury writes.
As a specialist in social media, she reaches widely when she shares research though her blog, Facebook and Twitter, according to the jury.
She is also the driving force behind “Girl Geek Dinners” in Oslo – an informal network promoting women in ICT.
